A MEC Level-1, 2, and or 3 certification, but when applied in the wild is on a whole different level.

  • Allergies and Anaphylaxis

  • Cold Water Submersion

  • Common Wilderness Medical Problems

  • Wilderness First Aid Kits

MEC Level-1

Time: 9AM - 4PM

First responder

 

  • Employ minor first-aid.

  • Assess patient.

  • Primitive medicinals.

  • First-aid kit prep.

MEC Level-2

Time: 9AM - 4PM

2 DAYS

  • Dress wounds.

  • Address shock.

  • Make a stretcher.

  • Splint(s).

  • Fractures.

  • Allergies & Anaphylaxis.

  • Spinal cord injuries.

  • Chest injuries.

MEC Level-3

Time: 9AM - 4PM

3 DAYS

  • Suturing.

  • Dressing deeper wounds.

  • Addressing major injury/life threatening injuries.

  • Patient transport.

  • Handling Edema and TBI.

  • Water purification.

  • Handling Dislocations.

  • Dealing with bite, stings, and poisons.

  • Hypothermia/Hyperthermia.

  • Heat exhaustion.

  • Cardiac, neurological, and neurological emergencies.

  • Cold water submersion (winter only)

  • CPR hands on...or face on...
